Antiwear’s pilot-produced plug valve samples have successfully completed 3,000 open-and-close cycles with zero leakage, achieving bidirectional sealing and meeting API598 standards. Compared to world-class manufacturers, the valve torque has been reduced by 20%, demonstrating that Antiwear’s plug valves offer longer service life and fully overcome the traditional limitation of less than 1,000 operational cycles.

Building on this achievement, Antiwear will continue efforts to localize plug valves for applications in chlor-alkali, caustic soda, MDI/TDI, and PTA industries.
