In the salt and alkali chemical industries, media crystallization and precipitation are persistent challenges. These conditions often lead to solids precipitating and building up inside the valve, causing operational difficulties, leakage, or even total seizure and pipeline blockage. Even high-quality semi-ball valves often require maintenance every few months to clear internal deposits, severely disrupting continuous production.
[ATW’s Innovation]
To address this, ATW introduced a new generation of nano-coating hardening technology combined with an optimized global design structure. This innovation significantly reduces the adhesion of media to metal surfaces, ensuring that solids cannot easily bond to the sealing components. This ensures smooth operation and maintains superior sealing integrity even in saturated, crystal-prone environments.
[Field Application]
In 2023, ATW supplied our newly developed anti-bonding metal-seated ball valves to the combined soda ash (ammonium chloride and soda ash) units at Jindadi Chemical. The performance has significantly outperformed the traditional semi-ball valves used on older production lines. By preventing media buildup, the service life of the valves has been tripled, earning high praise from the site’s operations team.
